Johnny Sigal

Johnny Sigal is definitely a Latin pop/rock and roll designer from Venezuela who made his single saving debut in 2008. Created in Caracas, Venezuela, he cites pioneering Latin alternate rock bands Soda pop Stereo system and La Ley (of Argentina and Chile, respectively) among his biggest influences. After showing up in an effective Spanish-language version of Jesus Christ Superstar, Sigal was provided a recording agreement with EMI Latin and proceeded to create his full-length single recording debut, Johnny Sigal (2008), in cooperation with veteran maker Marcello Azevedo, who’s known for his use Latin pop superstars Chayanne, Paulina Rubio, and Thalía, amongst others. Featuring tracks compiled by Azevedo, César Lemos, and Estéfano, plus a few by Sigal himself, the self-titled recording spawned the strike singles “Quedo en Nada” and “Cuando Te Perdí.”
