Joe Rock and roll wrote the lyrics towards the Skyliners’ “Since We DON’T POSSESS You.” The perennial preferred, using a melody constructed by Skyliners business lead vocalist Jimmy Beaumont and released around the Calico label, visited number 3 R&B on Billboard’s graphs in early 1959.
