JJ Lawhorn

JJ Lawhorn was just 17 when he signed a saving agreement with Colt Ford’s Standard Joes Entertainment after he was discovered through his beginner melody postings on YouTube by Nashville manufacturer Jeremy Stover. His debut record for the label, Primary Great Ol’ Boy, made by Stover, made an appearance in 2013 when Lawhorn was 19 years of age, and featured music (Lawhorn composed or co-wrote most of them) that suit right along with Typical Joes’ steady of outlaw, maverick mud-bogging nation artists who controlled largely beyond your Nashville music establishment.
