Jane Weaver

A multifaceted musical existence, English vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, serial collaborator, and record label mind Jane Weaver has performed both single and with the groupings Wipe out Laura (Brit-pop) and Misty Dixon (retro-kissed indie pop). Weaver released five singles (two which had been via Polydor) with Wipe out Laura between 1993 and 1996 before getting into a solo profession, issuing her debut EP, As an Aspen Leaf, in 2001. She produced Misty Dixon the next season (exactly the same season she founded her very own Bird Information, an imprint of Finders Keepers) and released Iced to Setting in 2003. Her sophomore outing, Seven Time Smile, found its way to 2006, accompanied by Cherlokalate in 2007, The Fallen by Watchbird this year 2010, as well as the Krautrock-infused Sterling silver World in 2014. In 2015 Weaver released a luxurious reissue from the critically acclaimed Sterling silver Globe, including an entire second album entitled The Amber Light.
