Featuring members from the Deathray Davies, the Old 97’s, Apples in Stereo system, as well as the Paper Run after, the Texas-based supergroup I REALLY LIKE Mathematics take their cues from country-rock, force pop, as well as the harmonies from the Everly Brothers. Users John Dufilho (vocals, acoustic guitar), Jason Garner (bass), Philip Peeples (drums), and Andy Lester (keyboards) released the group in the first 2000s, taking periods of the respective bands to spotlight the sparse and poppy tunes that quickly comprised I REALLY LIKE Math’s self-titled debut. Although Dufilho later on launched a single profession in 2005 and became a member of Apples in Stereo’s lineup the next year — even while carrying on to record and tour along with his primary group, the Deathray Davies — I REALLY LIKE Math still discovered time to focus on a sophomore work. Getting to the main point is Beside It found its way to May 2008, as well as the music group toured alongside the Aged 97’s that summer months, with Philip Peeples portion because the drummer for both rings.
