A British three-piece taking part in clear, witty pop tunes that blend hook-filled melodies having a slim instrumental attack and exact harmonies, Hot Golf club de Paris were formed in the summertime of 2003 when Paul Rafferty and Matthew Smith were both functioning part-time at a racetrack in Liverpool, tending the pub. Rafferty and Smith had been both music artists with rings of their personal, but while chatting during downtime they found out they had comparable tastes and made a decision to put together a fresh group like a part task. With Matthew on acoustic guitar, Paul on bass, and Alasdair Smith (Matthew’s more youthful brother) seated in on drums, Warm Golf club de Paris had been given birth to, and after almost a year of woodshedding, they produced their live debut within their hometown of Liverpool in Apr 2004.
