A skeleton within the wardrobe of guitarist Tony McPhee, who led this psychedelic music group in 1966-67 between your initial and second editions from the Groundhogs. Organic Blend highlighted McPhee, bassist Pete Cruickshank (who also performed within the pre- and post-Herbal Blend lineups from the Groundhogs), and drummer Mike Meekham. The initial Groundhogs, who got recorded several extremely obscure R&B singles within the middle-’60s, got disbanded in early 1966; following a stint with Truth plus some program work, McPhee released Organic Blend. The music group was most likely his least blues/R&B-oriented task, drawing even more from early United kingdom mod and psychedelic affects.
