A guitarist heavily influenced by his idol Wes Montgomery, Henry Johnson is an excellent player with an attractive tone. He used the sets of Jack port McDuff (1976-1977), Sonny Stitt, Hank Crawford, Ramsey Lewis (1979-1983), and Joe Williams, furthermore to documenting three albums being a head for MCA/Impulse during 1987-1990.
