Heather Duby

Since her aunt trained racehorses, ethereal singer/songwriter Heather Duby once imagined being truly a jockey when she was raised. But just like a lot of kids from the ’70s, she found out the Remedy and Joy Department as an adolescent. Duby started composing songs; she focused on melody and discovered herself enjoying the duty. In 1994, Duby remaining her humble environment of Portland and going north for Seattle. She centered on developing a profession in music while participating in Evergreen University in Olympia, and it had been of these years that Duby fulfilled manufacturer Steve Fisk. Upon graduation, she and Fisk readied themselves for Duby’s first documenting. Post to Cable was released on Sub Play 1999. 2 yrs later, Duby turned up her smoky pop stylings and became a member of Elemental for the slick digital work Symbient. In 2003, Duby came back with RUN INTO the River. Her initial for Sonic Increase, RUN INTO the River gathers a few of Duby’s most honest lyrics of her profession to date.
