Healing Sixes

Classic rockers using a penchant for combining Led Zeppelins guitar-centric bombast using the Dark Crowes’ Southern flavors more than a wholesome blues foundation, Recovery Sixes broke away of Indianapolis, IN in the past due ‘90s, as well as counted legendary kid Jason Bonham as their drummer for 4 years. This extend included the group’s 1999 debut record, Maple, and 2002 sophomore Enormosound, that was overseen by famed manufacturer Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Dark Crowes, Hurry, Bon Jovi, etc.) and boasted cover artwork created by Hipgnosis icon Surprise Thorgerson. After Bonham’s departure, Curing Sixes was following noticed from via 2006’s One Much less Friend to Ignore LP, and continuing to shuffle its lineup before buying Doug Henthorn (vocals, electric guitar), Eric Saylors (electric guitar, vocals), Jeff Rock (bass, vocals) and Wade Parish, (drums, vocals), before documenting 2010’s Blue Jay, their 4th album.
