Guy Blackman

The founder of Australia’s Chapter Music and a former person in Minimum amount Chips and Sleepy Township, Man Blackman struck from his own in 2004 with an arsenal of drowsy, sweetly retro tunes that nodded to artists like Jens Lekman as well as the Kings of Comfort. Appearing on the Anxious Jerk compilation, 2007’s E.S.P., using the music “Unsteady,” Man Blackman continued release a his debut recording, Adult Baby, through Unstable Ape in 2008. The recording presented a duet with Jens Lekman and a vocal cameo from the Artwork of Fighting’s Peggy Frew.
