The Bills

In 1996 about Canada’s Vancouver Isle, five acoustic multi-instrumentalists (Marc Atkinson, Chris Frye, Adrian Dolan, Glen Manders, and Jeremy Penner) came jointly to blend the music they cherished and make a “folk world fusion” that could ultimately earn them the 2003 American Canadian Music Award for Outstanding Root base Release. Originally known as the Costs Hilly Music group, the five-piece spent four years perfecting their fun and rootsy audio before live viewers before stepping in to the studio room to record their self-titled debut for Borealis Documenting. 24 HOURS A DAY implemented in 2002 and was praised by nearly every folk-leaning critic who noticed it. After earning the Outstanding Root base Launch award, the bandmembers transformed their name officially towards the Bills by the end of 2003. Their 1st release beneath the fresh name, Allow Em Operate, originally made an appearance on Borealis in 2004 but was found by Red Home Records in Apr of 2005.
