Motosierra

Motosierra hailed from Montevideo, Uruguay, where in fact the quartet came together following the past due-’90s demise of Uruguayan works like Chicos Electricos and Mix. With influences such as for example Dwarves, Turbonegro, Puffball, Motörhead, and G.G. Allin, Motosierra’s audio was a ramrod stream of brutal punk chording, screamed vocals, and sleaze — quite simply, sonic hedonism in fast movement. Marcos, Luis, Gabriel and Walo debuted with XXX (No Fun) before issuing some 7″s and break up releases. XXX made an appearance again on different imprints as well as for different markets, as do Motosierra’s Guidelines! LP. Other produces included Kick Ass Rock and roll ‘n’ Move, a break up with Brazil’s Forgotten Young boys, and looks on tribute albums towards the Ramones, Turbonegro, and Zodiac Mindwarp.
