Telekinesis

Telekinesis may be the songwriting automobile of Michael Benjamin Lerner, whose music splits the difference between summery indie rock and roll and buoyant power pop. Located in Seattle, Washington, Lerner dealt with a lot of the instrumental responsibilities on his band’s debut, Telekinesis!, that was produced by Loss of life Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla and released in springtime 2009. Telekinesis after that released a tour to get the record, with auxiliary users Chris Staples, David Broecker, and Jonie Broecker filling in the lineup. Around the 2010 EP Parallel Seismic Conspiracies, Lerner required over production responsibilities but also for his following complete LP, 12 Eager Right Lines, he was back again to dealing with Walla. For the tour that followed the discharge, Lerner formed a fresh music group with Jason Narducy on bass and Cody Votolato on acoustic guitar. Lerner’s third outing beneath the Telekinesis moniker, 2013’s Dormarion, discovered the one-man music group enlisting assistance from Spoon drummer/maker Jim Eno. Lerner spent another 2 yrs immersing himself in the wonderful world of classic synths and keyboards in expectation from the band’s vintage synth pop-heavy 4th studio album, Advertisement Infinitum, which decreased in Sept 2015.
