Giuseppi Logan Quartet

b. 22 Might 1935, Philadelphia, Pa, USA. A well-tutored clarinettist, alto saxophonist and flautist, Logan researched at the brand new Britain Conservatory of Music. He performed jazz in Boston and NY where his wide range allowed him to encompass R&B and free of charge jazz and he was more comfortable with music artists as varied as Earl Bostic and Archie Shepp. In 1964 he made an appearance at Expenses Dixon’s ‘Oct Trend’ concerts. In this same period, the first 60s, he caused several noted performers including Don Pullen, Milford Graves and Eddie Gomez, most of whom had been people of his quartet to get a well received 1964 documenting session. Quickly thereafter, however, health issues interfered along with his profession. His follow-up recording was disappointing and incredibly shortly he vanished from sight. Within the limited proof his recordings, Logan was an achieved participant with interesting tips which is unlucky that his profession was not permitted to develop.
