Ghost Buffalo

You might reasonably expect a music group called Ghost Buffalo through the hippie-friendly confines of north Colorado to become yet another group of trustafarian jam music group freaks providing sub-Phish vocals for everyone one’s hacky sacking and noodle-dancing requirements. Actually, the Denver quintet can be an odd combination of alt-country twang and doomy post-punk, as though Gillian Welch and David Rawlings got reorganized themselves being a Siouxsie as well as the Banshees tribute work. Siren-voiced blonde guitarist Marie Litton may be the band’s musical and visible focal point, highly resembling Lone Justice-era Maria McKee both in.
