Ghislain Poirier

Montreal indigenous and DJ Ghislain Poirier, that has collaborated with famous brands Coffee beans and Lotek Hi-Fi, includes a regular monthly show, Jump le Gros, in a packed club in his hometown, and can be a visible artist whose work continues to be exhibited in galleries around Montreal, 1st entered the music picture along with his 2001 record Il N’y a Pas de Sud. From then on, he arrived with almost an album annually on various brands (three — Beats as Politics, Breakupdown, as well as the Cool as Hell EP — on Chocolates Sectors) until 2006, when he began his own business, Rebondir Information, whose inaugural launch was Poirier’s Rebondir EP. The DJ continuing to remix additional artist’s function, including Woman Sovereign, Clipse, and Editors before issuing No Floor Under in early 2008 on Ninjatune.
