Germans

Originally formed being a two-piece bass-and-vocals band in 1999 simply by friends Steve Kado and Aidan Koper, the band Germans didn’t in fact come together to their even more permanent lineup (Kado had still left soon after their inception) until a couple of years into the fresh millennium. Leon Taheny, who acquired also created albums for Last Illusion and Ohbijou, emerged in on guitars and vocals (Koper added the same, and in addition performed synths), and soon after Michael Rozenberg, Steven Lappano, Tim Fagan, and Jesse Foster became a member of the group. Although associates of Germans all hailed in the Toronto area, these were agreed upon to Portland, OR-based World Rock and roll Recordings in June 2006, and the next calendar year their debut, Cape Dread, which drew evaluations to ’90s rock and roll rings like Pavement, Dinosaur Jr., as well as Modest Mouse, premiered in both Canada as well as the U.S.
