Gates of Eden

Almost nothing is well known of the band, who have been signed to Pye Information and took their name from a Bob Dylan song, but weren’t over covering “Snoopy vs. the Crimson Baron” (or the Kinks’ “AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF on My Brain,” while we’re at it). At their finest, these were enthusiastic spirit stompers using a amount of charisma but no true identity of their very own which to create a fandom beyond the night clubs where these were well-known. They disbanded in 1967 after launching their third and last single.
