Frank Solivan

Straddling the range between traditional and progressive bluegrass, Frank Solivan surfaced among the genre’s leading lighting in the 21st century. Competent in mandolin, acoustic guitar, and violin, he debuted as Frank Solivan II in 2002, the entire year he released I Am a Rambler. An added solo recording — 2006’s Selfish Tears — adopted before he shaped Dirty Kitchen with banjoist Mike Munford, guitarist Chris Luquette, and bassist Jeremy Middleton, the music group that backed him on 2010’s Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen and 2013’s For the Advantage. The music group received a significant signal increase in 2014 when Cool Spell received a Grammy nomination for Greatest Bluegrass Recording. In 2016, Solivan released Family members Close friends & Heroes, an recording studded with visitor cameos.
