An enigmatic electro-indie/alt-pop duo in the vein of Alt-J and Cup Pets, Foreign Air may be the creation of Jacob Michael and Jesse Clasen. Hailing from NEW YORK and Washington, D.C., respectively, the task found fruition in early 2015 following the pair, who had been in between tasks at that time, started trading tips via dropbox. The duo fell their brooding debut one, “Free Pet,” afterwards that November, accompanied by an EP, For the Light, in Sept 2016.
