Named following the rival gang leaders of Irish children from your movie War from the Control keys, Denton, TX duo Fergus & Geronimo sense of balance Moms of Invention psychedelia, Motown R&B, Nuggets garage area, and indie rock and roll affects. Jason Kelly and Andrew Savage fulfilled when Kelly began mixing an archive for Savage’s music group, the Teenage Coolkids. Both started producing music independently in 2008, and released three singles in ’09 2009, eventually liberating their third outing, Harder Than It’s HAVE YOU BEEN, on Woodsist Information, home from the likewise slack lo-fi organizations Wavves, Woods, and Empty Canines. After relocating to Brooklyn, the duo come up with a live touring music group with rotating music artists, and Kelly and Savage returned to recording like a two-piece for his or her first full-length this year 2010. Unlearn premiered by Hardly Artwork in January of 2011. Funky Was the Situation followed in the summertime of 2012. The group’s second full-length was an idea album loosely predicated on a imaginary intergalactic dating support, and swung stylistically from Devo-informed punk to shimmery disco grooves.
