In 1970, singer and guitarist Bruce Wheaton found himself with out a band following the users of Stitch in Tyme went their individual ways. He quickly resolved the issue by shifting to Toronto and developing a fresh group, PEOPLE. The other performers he teamed up with had been vocalist Pamela Marsh, keyboardist David Hare, guitarist Christ Paputts, bassist Carson Richards, and drummer Alan Muggeridge. During its brief life, PEOPLE recorded several strike singles, and one full-length recording (a 1971 self-titled LP) before sliding from the limelight. A year following its formation, PEOPLE singed a cope with GRT Information. That same 12 months, 1971, the group documented several singles, including “I Obtain the sensation” and “You Make Me Wonder.” The music group known as it quits immediately after, though a lot of the users remained in music, with efforts just like the Fun Men, A Positive Perspective, the English Are Arriving, and Molly Oliver.
