Chilean exotic act Jarabe de Amor agreed upon with Sony Music in 1999, recording their debut album that same year, Cumbia Sabrosita. Led by guitarist Rodrigo Astudillo, the music group climbed local graphs with the name song of an area soap opera known as “Santo Ladron.”
