Espectrostatic

Espectrostatic may be the horror movie soundtrack-inspired task of Alex Cuervo, better known for his work over time with punk and garage area acts like the Hex Dispensers, A Feast of Snakes, and Blacktop. After launching several EPs under his very own name in 2011 — Hallo Mein Name Ist Alex Cuervo for Crimson Lounge and 4-Tune Single EP for Difficulty at heart — that uncovered a darker, synth-driven aspect to his music, Cuervo proceeded to go additional down that route with Espectrostatic’s 2012 debut EP, Skeletactical. Having to pay homage to greats like John Carpenter, Goblin, and Tangerine Fantasy, the EP’s eerie atmospheres laid the groundwork for any self-titled full-length, which found its way to November 2013. Slightly below a year later on, Espectrostatic came back with Get away from Witchtropolis, a far more concentrated and streamlined group of songs.
