Eric Wikman

b. NJ, USA. Wikman was previously a rock and roll fanatic until his friend’s dance combine tapes captured his interest. He was an instant and enthusiastic convert, especially towards the compilations of Mathias Hoffman (Mosaic and Harthouse Information). Wikman shortly got mixed up in creative process as well, remixing techno slashes in the first 90s for San Francisco’s Megatone label with DJ Tag Lewis. By himself terms he lower ‘Body Baby’ on Champ Information, beneath the mantle Global Groove. The follow-up was ‘Cry Of Independence’, before he started remix work with D:Ream and Michael Watford.
