Eric Durrance

Vocalist, songwriter, and Tallahassee local Eric Durrance includes a company background in nation music because of his step-dad, who all played electric guitar, piano, and drums, and his mom and grandfather, who all taught him to sing tranquility, and his grandparents, who all played him George Jones. Afterwards Durrance gravitated towards the country-tinged pop from the Eagles as well as the songwriting varieties of Willie Nelson, Johnny Money, and Kris Kristofferson, even though they are a fine vocalist, it’s his songwriting that continues to be at the guts of his recordings. Dealing with companies Teddy Gentry and Tag Shiny, he released the EP I Shed It All as well as the full-length Angels Take a flight Away over the indie label Wind-Up Nashville in 2008.
