Ephwurd

Los Angeles-based Ephwurd are an in-demand home music duo known because of their genre-bending method of electronic dance music, often dubbed “bass home” because of its modern dubstep-style “bwah” bass drops. Shaped in 2014, Ephwurd feature the abilities of Canadian-born DJ/manufacturer Troy Beetles (aka Datsik) and California-born DJ/manufacturer Basie Hauser (aka Bais Haus), the boy lately Manhattan Transfer member Tim Hauser. Longtime close friends, the duo initial started collaborating on music while on tour with Steve Aoki. Expecting to build an atmosphere of secret, Ephwurd primarily released their 2014 debut one, “Nearer to sunlight,” without uncovering their specific identities. A remix of Main Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Low fat On” implemented in 2015 and helped buzz viewers for the reveal. After announcing that Datsik and Bais Haus had been certainly the duo behind Ephwurd, they shipped a high-energy cooperation with Jauz, “Rock and roll the Party.” Many even more well-received singles adopted in 2015, including “Duckface” and “Take it Back again.” In 2016, Ephwurd continuing to improve their profile, headlining a Western Coast tour.
