Toronto’s Emilie-Claire Barlow is certainly a Juno Award-winning singer using a warm, lithe vocal design and a knack for tackling urbane jazz specifications. Delivered in Toronto in 1976, Barlow was raised within a musical family members. Her father is certainly jazz drummer Brian Barlow, who in addition has documented as Brian Leonard and is most beneficial known for his use the Employer Brass (a Canadian big music group led by trombonist Rob McConnell). The recording showcased jazz reworkings of contemporary pop, rock and roll, and folk requirements, including tracks by David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Truck Morrison, yet others.
