Biography
Eliana Printes, among the phenomenons of Brazilian popular music in the late ’90s, were only available in music at 13, performing at local pubs in Manaus, Amazonas. Signing up for the music group Transcendental, she acquired her compositions performed for the very first time. Printes reached the finals of it competition “A Mais Bela Voz perform Brasil” (Brazil’s Many Beautiful Tone of voice) on Present Sem Limite, and performed alongside the composers Beto Guedes and Cláudio Nucci; before documenting her first Compact disc, Eliana Printes (1994), that was nominated from the Clear Awards because the revelation MPB of the entire year (1995). In 1998, she participated within the Novo Canto task, at Rádio JB FM. Later on in that 12 months, her third Compact disc, O Próximo Beijo, experienced two tunes which received great airplay, “Sobre o Tempo” and “Você e European union” (which reached the very best charts), persuasive her to go to Rio de Janeiro. In 2001, Printes was asked by Television Globo to record a track specifically for the cleaning soap opera Porto dos Milagres, that was compiled by Ivan Lins and Ronaldo Monteiro de Souza.
