Dosh

Martin Dosh was created for an ex-Catholic priest dad and an almost-nun mom outside LA; he and his family members moved back again to his parents’ indigenous Minneapolis when he was only a young child. By age group three, Dosh acquired began piano lessons, which he continuing until 11, after that picking right up the drums when he was 15. Another year he transferred to Massachusetts to wait music college, tooling around in the East Coastline until he ultimately came back to his parents’ house in 1997 when he was 25 (he previously since found the keyboards once again). Locating the music picture there growing, he soon began playing drums within the Andrew Broder-led Fog, in addition to within their instrumental offshoot, Lateduster. In 2003 Anticon released Dosh’s self-titled debut, accompanied by Pure Garbage, which highlighted vocal examples from his wife, two kids, and his drum learners, in 2004. The Shed Take, which acquired efforts from Andrew Parrot, Jeremy Ylvisaker of Fog, and associates of fellow Minneapolitans Content Apple and Tapes ‘n Tapes, arrived in 2006. Per year on the highway with Bird became just enough motivation for Dosh to create another record. Entitled Wolves and Wants, the debut full-length premiered in-may 2008, and accompanied by Tommy in Apr 2010. Dosh self-released his following album Silver Encounters in 2011 with time for the tour with freak-tronica action Dark Moth Super Rainbow, even though on that tour fulfilled Ryan Graveface, who released another Dosh album Dairy Cash on his Graveface imprint in 2013.
