Dircinha Batista

Dircinha Batista was an enormously successful vocalist. In over 40 years of profession, she recorded a lot more than 300 78 rpm albums, numerous big strikes, specifically with marchinhas for Carnival. In the same 12 months, she received a contest marketed by O Globo paper and was employed by Rádio Ipanema with the largest radio agreement until after that. Also in 1940, she acquired her first worldwide tour (Argentina). In 1941, she participated in the film Entra Na Farra and, 3 years afterwards, in Abacaxi Azul.
