Intensifying jazz group Common Ground features the mixed talents of electrical violinists Zach Brock and Tom Wright. Kentucky indigenous Brock resides in Chicago and performs with different ensembles. Wright can be a member from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Using the tempo section skills of pianist Jordan Baskin, bassist Mike Arnopol, and drummer Tom Hipskind, the group released its debut recording, Large Voltage, on Delmark in 2005.
