De Magia Veterum

De Magia Veterum is a one-man avant-garde dark metal task helmed from the ubiquitous Mories, or just M., who also participates in rings like Ophiuchus, Pompidou, Aderlating, Dimlit Hate Cellar, Astral, Cauteror, Soulwound, Atrocious, as well as the experimental music ensemble Gnaw Their Tongues. From 2003, De Magia Veterum continues to be quite prolific, liberating 2004’s Clavicula Salomonis demonstration, 2005’s Spikes Through Eye recording, 2006’s The Bloodstream of Prophet and Saints EP, 2007’s The Apocalyptic Seven Going Beast Arisen demonstration, 2009’s Migdal Bavel recording, and 2010’s In Conspectu Divinae Majestatis EP — most of them specialized in redefining the limitations of extremism through real sonic annihilation.
