Date Palms shaped initial being a duo in 2008 by multi-instrumentalists Marielle Jakobsons and Gregg Kowalsky in Oakland, California. Their initial stages of audio came by means of bass-heavy ambient pop, augmenting digital textures with an increase of organic violin playing within their gradual, foggy, and frequently instrumental compositions.
