D.D.E.

A chart-topping, award-winning Norwegian rock-band best known because of its lively concert shows, D.D.E. produced their recording debut in 1993 and broke to mainstream achievement in 1995 using their third recording, the live saving Det è D.D.E. Founded in 1992 in Namsos, Norway, the music group is made up of Bjarne Brøndbo (vocals, accordion), Frode Viken (acoustic guitar), Arnt Egil Rånes (acoustic guitar), Eivind Berre (bass), Bård Jørgen Iversen (keyboards), Eskil Brøndbo (drums), and Terje Tranaas (keyboards), a lot of whom had been people of another group, AT NIGHT, for quite some time through the 1980s ahead of D.D.E. The music group made its recording debut in 1993 with Rai-Rai, accompanied by Rai 2 in 1994. While neither of the albums was specifically well-known, the band’s third recording, the live documenting Det è D.D.E. (1995), was a breakout strike, steadily increasing to number 2 within the Norwegian albums graph and charting for an impressive 47 weeks general. The follow-up recording, Det Går Likar No (1996), a studio room effort, capitalized within the band’s newfound group of fans and topped the Norwegian graphs for eight weeks. Like its forerunner, it charted for pretty much a year’s period. In acknowledgement of D.D.E.’s breakout achievement in 1995-1996 with Det è D.D.E. and Det Går Likar No, the music group was granted a Spellemannprisen in 1996. Virtually most of D.D.E.’s subsequent recording releases had been Top Five strikes, many of them chart-toppers, including Ohwææææh!!! (1998), Vi Ska Fæst — Aill’ Mot Aill’ (2001), no Går Det Så Det Suse (2007). Regular compilations such as for example Her Bli Det Liv: De Beste 1992-2002 (2002) and 15 År Live (2007) also demonstrated popular.
