Borrowing the shiniest and crunchiest items of ’70s and ’80s force pop and steel, CRX feature vocalist/guitarist Nick Valensi, drummer Ralph Alexander, bassist Jon Safley, and guitarists/vocalists Richie Follin and Darian Zahedi. Valensi can be business lead guitarist for the Strokes, while Alexander can be a member from the Dosage, Safley originates from the Reflections, and Follin takes on with Guards. Influenced by their distributed like of Elvis Costello, Inexpensive Trick, as well as the Vehicles, they began playing collectively in 2013. CRX recruited Queens from the Rock Age group frontman Josh Homme to create their debut recording, New Pores and skin, which found its way to October 2016.
