Clock

The Uk disco-techno outfit Clock was probably best-known because of its mass-market cover songs, 1995’s house-seasoned reading of Harold Faltermeyer’s “Axel F.,” and 1997’s relatively digital reworking of Sizzling Chocolate’s “You Sexy Factor.” Oddly enough, the brainchild of DJ/maker Stu Allan and Peter Pritchard, Time clock had never eliminated for clubland reliability, focusing off their inception on 100 % pure dance-pop strikes that tended to recycle wistful disco riffs and a light contact of acid home. After a Technotronic-like debut, “SECURING,” offering an overheated, short-term vocal functionality by Ann Marie Smith, the music group recruited dance instructor ODC MC aka Marcus Thomas (Tzant, the Great, the Fab & the Groovy) and a laws student with the name of Tinka for long lasting vocals and continued to release almost a dozen Best 40 singles, aswell as 1995’s It’s Period, 1997’s TIME 2, 1999’s Japan-only Boogie Stand, and a greatest-hits LP in early 2000.
