The Chiara String Quartet is well known for playing its repertoire from memory. The ensemble was produced in 2000, and after earning several grants or loans, it became the Quartet-in-Residence on the School of Nebraska, Lincoln from 2005 to 2008, then your Blodgett Artists-in-Residence at Harvard School from 2008 to 2011.
