Casey Dienel

Casey Dienel is a singer, songwriter, and pianist from Massachusetts who achieved common exposure saving and touring beneath the name White colored Hinterland. Ahead of launching that task, Dienel recorded a couple of jazz-influenced indie pop tunes known as Wind-Up Canary for the Hush Information label in 2006. Reinventing herself 2 yrs later beneath the even more band-oriented White colored Hinterland banner, Dienel loved critical acclaim on her behalf three albums within the Deceased Oceans label as she explored numerous areas of experimental, frequently synth-laden pop. By enough time of her third LP, 2014’s Baby, Dienel experienced started to both record and make her music herself, dealing with periodic collaborators but mainly operating like a single artist. After a set of stand-alone singles in 2015 and 2016, Dienel shelved the White colored Hinterland moniker and released her following album, 2017’s Large Instances, under her personal name.
