Captain Black Big Band

A 16-piece big music group led by pianist/arranger Orrin Evans, the Captain Dark Big Music group makes swinging, forward-thinking jazz. Located in NEW YORK and formed this year 2010, the music group features a spinning lineup of best names for the N.Con.C. and Philadelphia jazz moments, including such performers as trumpeters Duane Eubanks and Walter White colored, saxophonists Joel Frahm, Ralph Bowen, and Jaleel Shaw, trombonist Stafford Hunter, drummer Anwar Marshall, as well as others. The music group released its debut self-titled recording on Posi-Tone Information in 2011.
