Straight No Chaser

Indiana’s Straight Zero Chaser can be an all-male a cappella outfit known for his or her advanced vocal harmonies and popular holiday-themed albums. Acquiring an unconventional strategy from their origins at Indiana University or college in 1996, the man a cappella ensemble Right No Chaser upset a repertoire that included not merely traditional tunes, but also contemporary pop music performed without the usage of instruments. Various regional shows, including a storied early-morning appearance in the university’s annual 36-hour dance marathon, captured the public’s interest and helped the ensemble collect a group of fans on campus. The initial lineup of Right No Chaser released many albums, toured the Midwest, as well as competed nationally at Carnegie Hall prior to the college students graduated and proceeded to go their separate methods. In 2006, a reunion display was prepared for the founding users of Right No Chaser at Indiana University or college, and a Dvd and blu-ray recording of the 1998 concert premiered. One particular audience was Atlantic Information chairman/CEO Craig Kallman, who flew the performers to NY and ultimately provided Right No Chaser a documenting contract. For the group’s following record, Right No Chaser tackled contemporary pop strikes by rings like Red Sizzling hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and Oasis. In 2013, Right No Chaser shipped the record Under the Impact, which featured visitor shows from such performers as Phil Collins, Dolly Parton, Jason Mraz, among others. The record was accompanied by the EP Beneath the Impact: Holiday Model, which featured visitor performances from Colbie Caillat, Paul McCartney, and Cee Lo Green. In 2015, Right No Chaser released their 5th full-length record, The New OLD-FASHIONED, which featured a variety of modern pop standards. The next year, they came back with I’ll Possess Another…Christmas Record.
