The trio By Divine Right was formed in 1991 by Jose Contreras (guitar, vocals), Brendan Canning (bass, vocals), and Tag Goldstein (drums, vocals). After launching a little-known cassette (Buffet from the Living Deceased) and showing up on different compilations, the music group released their self-titled, full-length debut in 1995. The four-song cassette Some implemented, and in 1997 All Hail Discordia (created and built by Brenndan McGuire) premiered by Nettwerk. In Feb 1999, Bless This Clutter was released and the music group toured using the Tragically Hip. After 14 a few months of documenting, the group’s following album, HELLO Beautiful, premiered by Linus Entertainment in 2001. After another 3 years along with a subtle change in musical path towards a harder audio, the group released their 5th recording and first for Spin Artwork, 2004’s Sweet Misunderstandings.
