After a handful of crossover files, Bruce Eskovitz actually extended on his Koch Jazz launch (One for Newk) as he paid tribute to Sonny Rollins. One selection (“Tenor Madness”) features him keeping his personal with the fantastic Ernie W. Eskovitz began playing tenor when he was 11 with age group 20 was composing music for Merv Griffin’s tv program. He has mainly worked like a studio room musician along with a jazz educator, but shows up regularly in LA area clubs.
