Brothertiger

Fitting using the chillwave craze, Brothertiger’s music provides neon ’80s keyboard shades as well as the woozy fidelity of a vintage VHS tape. Toledo indigenous John Jagos began producing upbeat electro as Monoteque in 2006 and, as he became inspired with the ambient moodscapes of Brian Eno and M83, he began recording beneath the moniker Brothertiger in his freshman dorm at Ohio University or college in ’09 2009. Ultimately relocating to Brooklyn, NY, Jagos released the Apache Feathers EP as well as the Eyesight Tunnels EP before putting your signature on to Mush Information who released his 2012 full-length debut Golden Years. A follow-up LP, Long term Splendors, arrived the next year. A reliable blast of singles held Jagos occupied in 2014, before the 2015 launch of his third recording, Out of Contact.
