Tenor saxophonist Bob Horton hailed from Liverpool and joined a German rock-band called the Bats in the first ’60s. The Bats may have powered Horton bats; at the very least, he remaining the group after half a year. He turns up on the four-CD box arranged from the Carry Family members label that paperwork the exhausting actions at Hamburg’s popular Star Golf club, longtime home because of this type of group. This Horton shouldn’t be confused using the jazz trombonist from the same name who turns up on many recordings.
