Option rock outfit Blush initially came together in 2001 around siblings Matt (drums), Andrew (guitar), and Mary Cushman (vocals). A 12 months after developing, the north Ohio-based trio, along with bassist Brian Risko, released a five-song self-titled EP on Surfdog. An optimistic response towards the launch — two of its songs later appeared around the MTV fact show Tough Plenty of as well as the ABC sitcom Eight Basic Guidelines — led the music group to seem on select Warped Tour times in 2002 and headline displays on Tony Hawk’s Birdhouse Skateboard Tour. Jayson Benn became Blush’s recognized bassist in 2003, while second guitarist (and youngest Cushman sibling) Gavin became a member of Blush’s ranks through the composing of their debut full-length. Documenting for the recording was finished in past due 2005; starting up with Cleveland’s Corrosion Records, the music group released From your Falls to the road in March 2006.
