Bill Ramsey

Though born in america, vocalist/pianist Costs Ramsey became perhaps one of the most well-known jazz and pop vocalists in Germany through the ’50s and ’60s. Delivered in Cincinnati, OH, on Apr 17, 1931, Ramsey initial became thinking about music via his amateur pianist dad, who presented him to such performers as Meade “Lux” Lewis and Albert Ammons. These shows were wildly effective and Ramsey was actually voted the main jazz vocalist in Germany inside a poll inside a German jazz journal.
