Barone Brothers

Gary and Mike Barone were from Cleveland. Gary Barone performed trumpet and flueglhorn and was younger sibling. He documented and performed with Stan Kenton’s LA Neophonic Orchestra within the middle-’60s, then caused Gerald Wilson, his sibling Mike’s orchestra, Bud Shank and Shelly Manne in the past due ’60s and early ’70s. He performed on film and tv soundtracks through the ’70s, along with Frank Zappa, Willie Bobo and Frank Strazzeri. He and his sibling co-led a music group that documented in 1979. Mike Barone relocated to LA afer his release from the military in the past due ’50s, where he’d performed in rings. He caused Si Zentner, Louis Bellson and Gerald Wilson, while using Dave Grusin, Tom Scott and Lalo Schifrin. He led the very first big music group at Donte’s in 1967.
