Tubai Choir

The music from the Tubai Choir, a big community chorus through the French-controlled Polynesian island of Tubai, is a reminder from the influence that Christian missionaries had for the region’s culture. Instead of carrying out indigenous music, the group has generated a repertoire of Protestant hymns.
